How Matt works
Matt's day rate is up to 8 hours @ £220
A brief discussion of your proposed project over the phone is free of charge.
Site visits and quotations are chargeable at £27.50 per hour but deducted from the project if business is engaged.
The full project cost will include all materials, transport to pick up and delivery costs.
Please bear in mind that materials costs are very inflammatory, and are also publicly available. If the cost of materials dramatically changes then the cost may need to be reviewed. Quotations therefore are valid for 1 month.
Matt can be managing a small handful of jobs at any one time, so may be on site for part of the working day but endeavours to manage the project so that wait times for, for example materials delivery or drying times, etc are never chargeable.
Payment is due within 14 days of invoicing, with thanks.
Consultation
Site visits and consultation for glamping businesses are chargeable at £300 per day. Please note that Matt will not consult on glamping business concepts within a 50 mile radius of our own business at HR48LS...for obvious reasons! We hope you understand.

Training & Experience
Matt has 15 years experience of carpentry, joinery, building works and project management in both self-employed and contracted positions on large site builds.
His training began on the acclaimed furniture-making course at Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy which provided his foundation in fine skilled joinery. He then developed a specialism in oak framing in Herefordshire, before almost single-handedly building The Quist as his first solo venture.
